THE COLONIAL PRIZE FIRING. The Wakan Hangers competed for choice of comp ny's representatives yesterday morning, there being nine competitors. Tbe conditions weie the same as in the previous matches. Lieut. Marshall, who heads the list with 92—the highest score up to the present time—made capital shooting throughout. At the 200 yards range, Lacey stands first with 28, the highest possible score ; at the 400 yards, Marshall with 27 (having made a similar score at 200); at tbe s>-0 yards Marshall again heads the list with 23 ; and at 6uo yards Lacey, with 21. Captain Wales, of t* o. 1 Company, superintended the firing. The following were the scores made :
