Paterson was taken out of the Graving Dock yesterday afternoon. The s.s. Wanganui, lor the Bluff, and the s.s, Tararua, with the English mail, sail tomorrow. , _ r .. The s.s. Albion, with the Northern portion of the Suez mail, sailed for the North at 4 p.m. yesterday. , , , The steamers Paterson, for Lyttelton and Wellington, and Ladybird, for Northern I orts, sail this evening. The steamers Maori for Lyttelton and int imediate ports, and Pretty Jane for the Molyneux, sailed last night. , The p.s. Samson left the old jetty for her usual trip to Oamaru immediately after the arrival of the 7.30 train this morning. The coasters Mary Ogilvie for Greymouth, Friendship and Isabella for Oamaru, and Margaret Scollay for Moeraki, sailed last night. The brigantine Emulous sailed down from Dunedin this morning, and after a short detention at the Port, got underweigh, and sailed for the Kaipara to load timber. The ship Peter Denny commenced to unmoor this morning, previous to sailing for London. She will bo towed to sea by the tug Geelong this evening, and being in fine trim will, no doubt, make a good passage Horae. Mr Ad on, Emigration Agent, is a passenger by her. Her cargo comprises 3.871 tales of wool and 4,bo*, cases meats, besides other produce. The topsail schooner Tauranga arrived from Greymouth this morning. Captain Urqubart reports leaving Greymouth on the 16th inst.; had strong northerly winds for the first two days ; the wind then came from the S. W., and increased to a gale, with heavy sea ; on the 19th the wind moderated, and on the 21st passed Banks Peninsula, with a strong N.W. breeze, And made the Heads last night. She brings a cargo of 75 tons of coal consigned to G. T. Reid* We thank Captain Urqubart for papers.
