GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL.
The distribution of prizes to the young ladies attending the Girls’ High School took place this afternoon in the presence of a large number of the parents and friends of the pupils. The old Drill-shed was resplendent with floral decorations, hut was not sufficiently large to accommodate the numbers who pressed for admission. The Hon. the Premier presided; and among those present we noticed the Hon. W. H. Feynolds, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, the Kev. Dr Rosohy, the Speaker of the Provincial Council, Ac., Ac. r lhe late hour at which the proceedings terminated prevents us giving more than the honor list, which is appended - Dux ou the School. —Miss Tewsley.
