The amount of revenue received at the Cu«-lowi-houso on pood* cleared for consumption this day, was L 498 2s. , The general trade of the week has been very brisk, up-country dealers being evidently desirous of getting in stock, in anticipation of the Christmas demand. The cargo of sugar by the Lenore was submitted to competition by Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn, and Co., and rather easier rates were established; line whites realising from 10s to 20s per cwt less, and yellows about 20s. In brandies there has been no change in quotations, but the supply is plentiful No change has taken place in Geneva nor whisky. Oilmen’s stores remain steady. American salmon, 14s. Sardines, qrs, (is (id , h’ves, 10s 6d. Kerosene can be purchased at Is 9d for Diamond, and Is lOd for Devoe’s. Candles are in better supply, and may be quoted at ll.[d, Balt, coarse and fine, in bags, is held for 955. A. Mercer reports for the week ending Dec. 6 ; retail prices only Fresh butter, in prints, best quality, 9d to lOdperlb ; second quality, 8d to 9d per lb. Fresh bntter, m lumps, 8d per lb. Prime new season’s salt butter, in kegs, 8d per lb. Cheese, Is per lb. Side and rolled bacon, 9d to lOd per lb. Beet hams, 7d to 8d per lb; boiled beef hams, 9d per lb. Colonial hams, Is to Is 2d per lb English hams, Is 8d per lb. Eggs Is 2d per dozen.

Mfxbournb, November 29. -Greasy wool at Goldsborough’s sale on the 26th brought 8d to Is 2d; fleece, Is 4d to 2s 4pl; scoured, Is 3yd to Is lljd. Best wheat is worth os 6d to os Sd, with little offering. Feeding grains are firm. Oats, common feeding, 4s od to 4s Gd. Sugars are firm, Devoe’s kerosene, Is B.pl, Hennessy’a case brandy is dull at 2Ss to 28s 3d. Dogger’s and Burke’s stouts are moling at 13s 3d. , , . . LONDON, November 29.—Ihc com market is etrong, with an upward tendency. Adelaide wheat is quoted at L 3 to L 3 7s per quarter for finer qualities. The copper market remains without any noticeable alteration. Tin is depressed, with little business doing ; Australian, LUG. Coals declining in price, Auckland, December G. —Mr Bucklaud reports that at his annual wool sale, greasy wool was 3d a pound lower than last year. 1,100 bales were sold.
