E., sailed up to her anchorage off Carey’s Bay, amder the charge of Pilot Kelly. _ Captain Cleary reports leaving the Mauritius on the 21st of October ; had fine weather, principally from the westward, till off the Lenwin, when she encountered a heavy N.L. gale, and was compelled to heave-to twice for 12 hours ; light winds from thence to the Snares, which were audited at daylight on the 25th November ; a light S.W. breeze enabled her to make the Heads at daylight this morning. After discharging a portion of her cargo, she proceeds to Lyttelton with the remainder. The barque Eleanor, from Newcastle, was signalled at the Heads to-day. Ihe tug Geelong went down, and will tow her up this afternoon. Early this morning the signals at the Heads announced the arrival of Messrs Shaw, Sav ill, and Co.’s fine iron clipper ship Zealandia, still under the command of Captain (bury. The tug Geelong immediately proceeded down, and brought her up (under the command of Pilot Patou) close to the railway pier. _ On hoarding her we were struck by her neat, tidy, ami clean appearance for an emigrant ship. She lias arrived a perfect model. Her voyage has been remarkably free from sickness.notwithstanuing the number she has on board ; everything seemed in its place in each of the compaitments; it seemed as if each had been trying to outdo the other in cleanliness. Each compartment is well ventilated with extra appliances, and fitted with bath-rooms, with hot water to the hospitals. The passengers expressed themselves well satisfied with the provisions, water, and treatment; and they speak very highly of (Japt. Curry and of Dr Husband, each of whom has been presented with a testimonial by the pas«en"ers. There were three deaths on the voyage -the first, on the 26th of September, Alary Louise Million, aged two years, of disease of the brain ; on the 9th of October, Jane Elizabeth Stokes, aged two years, from rliurrhu'a; William Knight (butcher of the ship) on the 27th October, of disease of the liver. As soon as she was cleared, a number of her cabin passengers came on shore. Sho will be removed to the railway pier mi Tuesday morning. Captain Curry reports leaving Gravesend on the 29th August; anchored at the [Downs on the 31st; got under weigh again and discharged the Pilot off Portland on the 4th of September, having head winds down the Channel; from thence to bit. 40 N,, light and variable winds; caught the N.E. trades, ■which were good in lat. 30 N. and lost them in kt. 15 N.; light southerly winds from thence, to the Equator, which was crossed on the 2nd of October, in long. 22.20 W.; the S.E. trades, which drew well to the eastward, were soon •picked up, and were carried to lat. 52 S.; the jjieridiau of Greenwich was crossed on October 25 th in hit. 40 S. and that of the Cape on October 29th ; her easting being run down on a -fiieral parallel, of 46.30 S.; had fine weather from thence to the Leu win with light westerly winds ; on the 23rd of November, m lat. 48 S.
