Barques: Lady Agnes, Lenore, Jane Lowland. The Jane, cutter, from Shag Point, with coals, sailed up to Dunedin last night. # A little after five o’clock last evening, the French war steamer Vice got under weigh, and proceeds to Campbell s Island. . The s.s. Wallabi arrived at 11.20 tins morning and steamed alongside the Peter Denny to discharge three bales of wool, and then steamed alongside the hulk Henbury to coal, haying left the Bluff at 5.30 p.m. yesterday. Had fine weather to arrival. The Tararua left Melbourne at ;> p.m. on the 15th: arrived at Hokitika at 5 a. in. on the 19th ; left for Nelson at 3 p.m. ; arrived there at 9 a.tn. on the 20th ; left at 10 a.m. on the *>lst • arrived at Wellington at h.30 the seme night; left at 2.30 p.m. 24th ; amyed at Lyttelton at 7 a.m. on the 2oth ; left at 0.1.i last night; and arrived at Port Chalmers at 1.15 p.m. to-day. . The shipping at the Port is very quiet, the only vessel discharging in the bay being the shin Lady Jocelyn, and she is making good progress. At the railway piev the ship May Oueen is discharging timber into a lighter; the barques Jane Rowland and Lenore, jrom Mauritius, are discharging into the railway trucks ; the former very slow y. Yesterday afternoon the ship Rokeby Hall was hauled ott and the May Queen removed into her berth. The only arrival this morning was the s.s. Wallibi from the Bluff; she discharged three bales of wool into the Peter Denny, which vessel is loading very slowly. The s.s. Ranga : tira sailed last night with the Auckland cricketers. A number of friends accompanied them down by the last train, and heartily cheered them as they went on board. Ihe ship Christian M‘Ausland will be removed to the railway pier this evening.
