THE CALEDONIAN SOCIETY’S GAMES.
To the Editor. Sir, —Some time back it was agreed at a meeting of the above society that the programme for the annual gathering should be issued at an early date, in order to give intending competitors ample time for training. As no sign of the promised programme has yet made its appearance, I hope the society will take the bint and issue the same at once, as intending competitors will require all the time now remaining to bring themselves into a tit state to compete with satisfaction to themselves and onlookers. And also that they will see their way clear to do something in the way of improving the running course, as it is in a very bad state, the grass especially wanting cutting badly, in order to let it have time to recover before the New Year. - -I am, Ac., Jumping Jack. Dunedin, November 21.
