The amount of revenue received at the Cus tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was L 1,397 3s Gd. , Applications for shares in the Irmcc oi Wales Colliery Company at Green Island are becoming very numerous, and we hear the list is likely soon to be filled up. A preliminary meeting of merchants and others interested was held at Wain’s Hotel last evening, for the purpose of forming a new insurance company. After some discussion, it was resolved to adjourn the meeting, which will be convened by circular on an early day.

Adelaide, November 1. —Buyers offer os for new wheat, delivered ia January ; old, 6s ; quiet. Wellington, November 13. —Oamaru flour, Ll3 10s to Ll4 10s ; milling wheat, 5s 9d ; chick do, 4s 9d ; oats, 5s 3d to 5s 6d; maize, 5s 9d—market sluggish.
