WORKING MEN.
To the Editor. Sir, —Hitherto the working men of Dunedin have had no opportunity of lending a helping hand to found a bursary in connection with our University to commemorate the memory of Sir Walter Scott. If they patronise the entertainment to-night at the Princess Theatre, they will help it very materially, as every penny of their money will go towards founding a bursary, sufficient tickets having already been sold to pay all expenses. Hoping the working men will show their appreciation of the object, and their admiration of the illustrious Sir Walter Scott, I am, &c., an Admirer op Genius and Worth. Dunedin, November 14.
