At White’s Bay, Marlborough, during a gale last week, the sea was higher than on any former occasion since the Telegraph Staff have been located there. The wavec reached right through the garden, fully 100 yards above high water mark, and upwards of fifty sharks were washed ashore, many of them being 6ft. to Bft. long.
