A. R H AY In opening up his consignment of ARTIFICIAL SPRIK 6 AND SUMMER FLOWERS, came across what appeared to be a live Beetle. Upon closer inspection, however, it turned out to be a wonderful imitation of nature. In fact, it was a dead Beetle mounted upon the finest wires, forming its legs the wings and back coated with the colors of the rainbow. This v hen carelessly fastened upon the Blossoms, which appear to have just come from the Conservatory, produces a very beautiful effect. The foliage of some of these Flowers surpasses anything before seen in this Colony; the most astonishing fact being that they are marked at such a price as to bring them within the reach of’all.
