A. R H *'■ In opening up his consignment of ARTIFICIAL SPRING AND SUMMER FLOWERS, came across what appeared to be a live Beetle. Upon closer inspection, however, it turned out to be a wonderful imitation of nature. In fact, it was a dead Beetle mounted upon the finest wires, forming its legs the wings and back coated with the colors of the rainbow. This when carelessly fastened upon the Blossoms, which appear to have just come from the Conservatory, produces a very beautiful effect. The foliage of some of these Flowers surpasses anything before seen in this Colony; the most astonishing fact being that they are marked at such a price as to bring them within the reach of all.
