In the Court of Exchequer the other day the Attorney-General, on the part of the Crown, sought to recover from a gentleman named Carmouchc a sura not exceeding L 5.000, for having manufactured and sold spirits without a license. Mr Carmouche, who had an office in Mark Lane, had for some time carried on an illicit distillery at Bow Common.
