CRYPTOGRAPHY.
To the Editor. Sir,— ln your issue of Saturday last I noticed a cryptographic puzzle, forwarded to you by Henry Lynch, jun. Would you kindly oblige by inserting one from me ? It is an exact copy of a cypher message found amongst my grandfather’s papers after his decease, which event occurred some fifty years ago, and which we have never been able to make anything of. Perhaps Mr Lynch or some resident of the town may be able to explain the mystery and enlighten our understanding.—l am, &c., Frank Mitchell.
