RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Monday, October 13. (Before I. NL Watt, Esq., R.M.) Drunkenness.— John Anderson, not appearing to answer to this charge, forfeited his bail, 40s ; William StavMy and Maurice K'tvanagh, against each of whom there were previous convictions, were lined 10a each or 43 hours ; and Samuel Karra, Win. Keenan, and Edward Coonau were severally fined ss, nr 24 hours. The only civil cases before the Court to-day were the following, in each of which judg ment was given by default Zicle v. C. Hrodie Cooper: claim L 8 19s 3d, for groceries supplied ; Godfrey v. John Tuck : claim L 4 ~)i 2d, for goods supplied.
