The great prosperity which exists throughout the Province calls for additional facilities for acquiring land, building houses, and otherwise improving properties. This Society is intended to meet these requirements, and to enable persons to profitably invest their savings and other surplus money. Whilst every encouragement will be given to borrowers, care will be exercised in acceding securities, and the business of the Society will be conducted with a due regard to economy and efficiency in "the interest alike of the investors and borrowers. The number of shares to be allotted in Dunedin will be limited, so as to enable persons in the country to acquire a substantial interest in the Society. Early application for scares should be made to the Interim Secretary, Mr Dalrymple, at Exchange I lumbers, from whom all necessary information may be had.
