THE PAST SESSION.
During the late session the House of Representatives sat on an average seven hours daily for 52 days. There were 26 Select Committees ; 162 petitions received ; 72 divisions ; 243 papers tabled, of which 203 printed; 7 reports received from committees; 81 public and 3 private Acts passed the Legislature ; 26 were rejected by the Legislative Council.
