This season should prove an exception for excellence of design and extra good value with this department. Black Silk Jackets copied from French Models (beautiful goods), from One Guinea. All other requisites to complete a well-arranged department. SILK AND DRESS DEPARTMENT. Several new and good wearing Fabrics, from 10s 6d for 12 yards. A very elegant material termed the Tasso cloth, 15s 12 yards. Several new makes in Lustres are likely to form an important branch of commerce this season. Brocaded Lustres, Striped and Figured Lustres, Plain Twill Lustres in all the new colors, and many other Fabrics well worthy inspection. All other departments are well supplied. A. R.
