The amount of revenue received at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was L 2,447 5s 3d.
[By Telegraph.] Auckland, Sept. s.—Mr John Reid reports flour at Ll3 to Ll4, and the market stocked with all kinds of Southern produce. Business is dull. Christchurch, Sept. s.—Messrs Royse, Stead, and Co. quote breadstuflfs much firmer. Wheat is wanted at 5s 3d to 5s 6d, free on board; flour, Lll 10s to Ll2 10s, at thejmlls ; oats, 4s fid to 4s 9d, free on board. In butter, there is no demand, at XOd ; cheese, Mr O’Shea reports the flour market fully stocked, and purchases only from hand to mouth. Low brands Canterbury, for bakers’ mixing, Ll2 10s to Ll3 ; Oamaru, best brands, Ll3 to Ll4 ; oats, ordinary feed, ss; milling, no market; chicken, 4s 3d to 4s fid ; potatoes are changing hands at L 3 10s to L 4 ; early seed, L 6.
