Steele Mr Hoskins has much pleasure in announcing to the patrons of the Queen’s Theatre that he has suceeded in arranging with the Melbourne agents of the Authors of “The Palace of Truth,” “ Pygmalion and Galatea,” “The Wicked World,” “Daisy Farm,” and “Cyril’s Success,” for their production in Dunedin. The three first named have constituted a new era in dramatic literature, and have successfully occupied the Stage of the Haymarket Theatre, London, since November 19th, 1870. We purpose producing “The Palace of Truth ” on Friday Evening, August 29th, with entirely new and brilliant Scenery, Decorations, Dresses, and Appointments, at a cost of upwards of three hundred pounds.
