MAIN SOUTH ROAD.

To the Editor. Sir, — I and my fellow-sufferers who read with pleasure tbe letter of “ Pedestrian ” in your issue of the lUth ult. were in hopes that something would have been done ere this to improve the condition of the main road. But we were disappointed. Will you please inform us whether “ Pedestrian” has forgotten the promise in his letter, or been silenced by tbe “clique” who live about him. Hoping you will insert this for the benefit of the people of Caversham. —I am, Ac.', Pad-the-Hoof.
