Bishop Moran has evoked a keen criticism in consequence of his denunciations of secret societies and secular education at the Thames. The barque Albion, from Newcastle, reports the schooner Mary, of Sydney, wrecked near Newcastle. All hands lost. Why are colliers like house-reared birds ? Because they are brought up in a cage.
