THE WAIKOUAITI ELECTION.
[By Teltobaph.] The polling for a member to represent Waikouaiti in the General Assembly took place yesterday, and resulted in the return of Mr J. L. Gillies. The voting at the different polling booths was as follows :
Majority for Gillies, 70.
