Fredk. H. Evans reports that the Share market has not been so lively during the past week, although prices for all joint stock shares have been quite maintained. South British have advanced, as expected, and may bo quoted at L2 7s 6d (it is rumored the price is still higher in the Northern Provinces); National Bank of New Zealands have gone to 17s, at which figure I have made sales; Albion coal shares ar° 7s 6d premium, with prospects of a rise ; Shotover Gold Mining Company I have done at 6s premium—a very low price, considering the good reports from the claims; Forburv Parks—--1 quitted a goodly parcel of those at L 23 each ; Dunedin Waterworks are inquired for, and negotiations are on for a transfer of these at Lls ex div. Bank of New Zealands would find ready sale at Ll6 10s.
