At BlenheiPolice Coart, on June 23, John Owen on the information of the policeith having unlawfully assaulted Ann Ichard, a little girl (aged five years), the jgbter of Henry Pritchard, fruiterer, Ac. igh street, Blenheim. The father of therl watched the prisoner take her away to tcluded spot, and after making sure ofis intentions, the indignant parent assard him there and then, and afterwards Ided him over to the police. The accused s committed for trial at the Supreme Picton.
