She and the Euterpe arrived on the same day although the latter vessel left here six days before the Oberon. Both vessels are expected to have to stop at Newcastle a considerable time to wait their tum, as the place is literally crammed with vessels waiting to be loaded. The steamer Beautiful Star, for Timaru and Lyttelton, came down from Dunedin yesterday, and after taking some transhipments ex J. N. Fleming, left about dusk. . The Harbor Company’s steamer Maori returned to Port Chalmers shortly after daylight this morning, and steamed alongside the 'ild Deer to discharge her cargo, She left Lyttelton at 7.5 p.m. on the 14th, and amvedat Akaroa at 11 40 p.m. the same night; left at 12.30 a.m. on the 15th, and arrived at Timaru at 9.30 a.m. the same day; left at 7.25 p.m., and arrived m Port Chalmers as above. The barque Woodville, for Newcastle, was towed to sea this morning by the Geelong, bound to Newcastle. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
