SHORT WEIGHT COAL.

To the Editor, SlE,—Seeing so many letters in your paper respecting coal, I beg to state that before Messrs Findlays started in this Dunedin, coal trade was monopolised by one firm, of whom I was compelled to deal. Not in any way getting proper weight from this original coal yard, I was pleased to try Messrs Findlay’s, and have since paid to that firm hundreds of pounds for boal, and Constantly Htaighefl them on iny own scalps as minutely as any man coala, and found them always correct, and am perfectly satisfied to continue buying from them.—l am, Ac., D. Hughes. Dunedin, June 27.
