The Returning Officer, Mr Street, attended at the school-house, Anderson’s Bay, this morning, and gave the official declaration of the poll as follows Tolmie ... 132 Cutten ... 90 Majority for Tolmie ... 42 Mr Tolmie was declared duly elected. The successful candidate was the only one present, hut he did not address the electors, of whom only a very few were present. OAVERSHAM.
