During Sir James Fergusson’s visit to Scot land he has been twice banqueted by bis tenantry and friends, A Landlords’ Association for mutual protection was formed at Birmingham lately. Rules were adopted by which a register of bad tenants shall be kept, and stringent measures taken to avoid loss of rent and injury to house property. It is proposed to take steps at an early date to advance the rents of small houses.
