(From the New Zealand Press Association.) Wemjnoton, June 16. Captain Machell proceeds to Melbourne shortly as A. D.C. to Governor Bowen. Sir Jnmes Fergusson’s brother has arrived in the Jubilee, and will become A.D.C. A grand torchlight procession is now going on. Wanganui, June 14. The stablesat Handley’s Hotel, Nuknmarn, were burned down last night through the groom leaving a lighted candle in a stall. The loss is estimated at L4OO. All the horses were got out.
