Importing direct from the British Manufacturers a continual assortment of FfRST-CLASS DRAPERY, gives to the several branches in the Establishment advantages not hitherto possessed ; and, while directing attention to the Goods generally, precedence is given to the MANTLE, MILLINERY, and UNDERCLOTHING DEPARTMENTS, Now receiving careful superintendence. The Home Agent has been specially instructed to forward from time to time, per Mail Steamer and otherwise, the very LATEST FASHIONS ; to forward also for Orders and Manufacturing purposes the Newest Materials, Per ship Oberon, cases are in course of opening received from the leading English and Scotch Manufacturers, and the Goods marked with the smallest possible profit, thereby offering to our Town and Country Customers the utmost value for their money. DEPARTMENTS. MANTLES—Ladies will find this an unusual opportunity for buying some very choice designs both in Cloth, Velvet, and Velveteen. MILLINERY—Great attractions in this Department ; early inspection invited. UNDERCLOTHING—Ladies can now rely upon meeting with all their requirements at very moderate charges, and a large and nice variety to choose from. SILKS and VELVETS—FuIIy fifteen per cent under ordinary prices, and having been purchased from well-known makers at Home, Ladies may have full confidence in selecting them. DRESSES—In all the new Materials ; some pretty Heather Mixtures in Serges, 12 yards for 10s.
