THE DIRECTORS of the WATER WORKS COMPANY will be obliged to Citizens having any reasonable complaint against the impurity of the water supplied by the Company, if they will communicate the same to the Secretary. As the general supply is undoubtedly pure and fresh, any such impurity must be local, and arise from the consumption in the locality being too small to counteract the effects of stagnation. By communicating with the Secretary, steps will at once be taken to draw off such stagnant water and scour the pipes, when the purity of the supply will at once be restored.
