Monday, (Before his Worship the Mayor.)
Drunkenness.— Neil M‘Lean was fined 5», with the option of twenty-four hours’ imprisonment; William M‘Ghie, 10s or forty-eight hours’; and Thomas Kennedy, not appearing, had the amount of his bail (40s) forfeited; in default twenty-four hours’ imprisonment, with hard labor. Obscene Language.— John King* notappearing to answer to a charge of this nature, a warrant was ordered to be issued for his apprehension. Bye-law Cases. —John Didham. allowing two cows to wander, was fined 2a 6d sad costs; John Woodrow, driving without sufficient rein?, 20s ; and two charges against Oswald Clayton, of neglecting to keep a sufficient light burning on certain building material, was dismissed.
