Wo have reason to believe that the Government av u prepared to recommend the appointment of a Royal Commission to inquire into the practice of employing' unseaworthy ships and;overloading. The animal exhibition of canaries and British and Foreign cage birds took place at the Crystal Palace on the 15th February. The show was larger than on any previous occasion, and comprised nearly 1,100, specimens.
