Tim revenue for 1873 was stated to amount to L76)000,000, and the expenditure to L 71,000,000. Half the Geneva award is to paid from the surplus revenue, and the other half by exchequer bills. The duty on sugar is to be reduced one-half, and Id taken off tne income tax. The British exports for March amounted to L 21,000,000 ; the imports to L 29,000,000.
