NOTICE. PENINSULA STEAM COMPANY. TO meet the wishes of the public of Portobello and the settlers on the Peninsula generally, the Company have resolved, on and after Friday, the 4th April, and till further notice, to lower the fares to and from Dunedin to all Jetties to Single Fares 2s Od. Return Tickets 2s 6d. Freight to he charged as per agreement. Baskets and Boxes, Is each. The steamer will leave the Old Jetty, Dunedin, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, at 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m,; on Friday and Saturday at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. ; returning from Port Chalmers daily at 3 p.m., calling at each place on the route for return passengers.
