The amount of revenue received at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was LI, 471 13s 6d.
Messrs DRIVER, STEWART, ANI) Co. report for the week ending 9th April Stock.— Fat (’attle; A large supply of 85 head were yarded, which, being more than was required, a portion had to be withdrawn. Bullocks brought from Lsssto L 8 10a, C ows, 1A (id to L 7, a few of the best pens realising fully 20s per lOOlbs. We sold 32 head at yards and 50 head privately. Fat Sheep: 500 mixed sheep were penned, which brought slight advance on late quotations, crossbreds realising 12s 6d; merino wethers, 7s 6d to 11s 9d; ditto ewes, 5s to (is 9d. Of the above we sold 170, and privately 1,200 for forward delivery. Store Cattle are saleable at L 3 10s to L 4 for bullocks, and L2 to L2 10 for good mixed herds. Store Sheep are in demand at 10s lls for cross-bred wethers; do ewes, 12s to "Ids ; do iambs, 8s to 9s ; merino wethers, 6s 6d to 7s ; do ewes, two to six-tooth, 6s to 7a 6d; do, full-mouthed, 4s Cxi to ss. Our sales are 2,000 merino wethers and 1,000 cross-breds. Wool. —Since the date of our last, no intelligence of importance has been received from London. On the 4th inst. we held our tenth sale of this season, when a catalogue comprising 445 bales was submitted to competition. The attendance of buyers was not large, but, considering the present aspect of the Home market, the bidding was moderately active, and 195 bales were disfxised of at prices fully equal to those of our sale on the 21st ult. '1 he decline in values has been most severely felt in the lighter description of greasy wools, which may be quoted at 2d to 2*l per lb lower than at the commencement of the season. Inferior and medium greasy have suffered from Id to I*l, and washed, I*l to 2d per lb.
