Tins Day. (Before His "Worship the Mayor.)
Drunkenness.— Wm. Colbournowss fined 10s, with the alternative of forty-eight hours’ imprisonment. Obscene Language. Ellen Maitland, agaainst whom there were a score of previous convictionf, was fined L 5, or in default two mouths’ imprisonment, with hard labor. Wife’s Protection Order. —Catherine Cane, the wife of Patrick Cane, applied for an order to enable her to keep her earnings from her husband, who was a habitual drunkard. The order as applied for was granted.
