MR. M'GLASHAN.

To the Editor.

Sir, —In this morning’s Star you reproduce a paragraph from the Bruce Herald, stating that it is my intention to proceed to England, and consequently inferring that I shall resign my seat as representative of Roslyn and North Harbor. This is incorrect, as my arrangements do not render my resignation necessary. Should circumstances lead me to resign the trust confided in me, I will meet the electors of the districts I represent in the General Assembly and Provincial Council prior to making any public announcement on the subject. --I am, &c., E. M'Glashan. Dunedin, April 2.
