The amount of revenue received at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was L 285 5s sd. The amount of gold revenue collected at the Custom House, to-day, was L 733 18s 4d.
In wheat there is no change in the price. Ihe market value is 4s 6d per bushel, and at this rate several large purchases have been made dinin' 1, tbe week. There is none of a second class finality offering. For flour the demand has increased ; the price is now settled at Lll 10s in sacks, and sales are freely made often and twenoy ton lots ; flour in hags is at Ll2; second class has a small sale at LlO. _ Oats have advanced to 2s Gd per bushel for prime milling kinds : good feed will find buyers at 2s 4d to 2s sd. The supply is much better, and a full market may Jjc looked for during next week. In consequence of the advance in oats, the millers have raised oatmeal to Id 4 per ton. her barley a quotation can scarcely be given, as the quantity being offered is so small; sales can be made at 6s Gd; pearl barley is firm at L2(,. Potatoes, L2 15s. Bran, L 4. Pollard, L.i. Hay, L 3 ss. Straw, L2. Chaff, Ld os. A. Mercer reports for the week ending 2Jth Marchßetail prices only : Fresh butter, in hj and 11b prints, best quality, Is 2d per lb; second quality, Is to Is Id per lb; fresh butter, in lumps, lOd ; powdered and salt butter, lid per lb. The supply of fresh butter has _ fallen off to some extent, and a slight rise m the price has taken place this week, but the maikct is well supplied, and even some of the storekeepers are still salting down their suiplus quantities. Salt butter in kegs is selling at 10d per lb, but holders arc only supplying present orders. Really good cheese is very scarce, , and prices are looking up; for R°od quality, 9d per lb; side and rolled bacon, 9d to 10(1 per lb; colonial hams la to Is Id per lb ; English hams, at present none in the market; eggs very scarce this week, and selling at Is 6d per doz.
