R H AY In laying before his CUSTOMERS and the general PUBLIC a brief statement of the arrangements made for the AUTUMN AND WINTER TRADE, ADVANTAGES NOT PREVIOUSLY OFFERED, In selecting from the undermentioned Departments Goods arriving expressly to his order from leading English and Scotch Manufactures, thereby placing himself upon the same footing as any First-class House in New Zealand. A. R, H,, in avoiding random assertions, so general in the soft goods trade, contents himself by stating that his purchases have been made with every care to the requirements of his patrons, from well-known Home firms, who supply none but really genuine and sound Goods, and the profit marked upon them after arrival has been necessarily small, so as to place the several departments in the FRONT RANKS OF COMPETITION. SPECIAL MENTION is made of the MANTLE, MILLINERY, and UNDERCLOTHING DEPARTMENTS, At all times important branches—which have been placed under New and Very Efficient Management’ No pains will be spared to gain the full confidence of customers who may desire to give their orders ; and, with the large experience and facilities at hand, it is hoped the results will prove satisfactory. The DRESS-MAKING DEPARTMENT, as usual, is meeting with approbation. DEPARTMENTS.
