The bulk Stock held over from last season will give you an immense advantage over those requiring to buy now, as the advance on heavy woollen go uls, such as Blankets, •Hamids, &c., is enormous. # b *’* * * * * * “ Your increased orders have caused all difficulties in the way of going to the fountainbead entiro'y to vanish, and now I venture to say that no firm can get readier access to all desirable people. . . . I. believe everything going out this season will bear favorable comparison with anything reaching your market. . . There is no earthly reason why you should not compete successfully with any wholesale house in New Zealand in the matter of value. “JACKETS AND SHAWLS.—By this mail you will receive six cases, one of which contains the very latest styles. The mantles arc very richly trimmed this season. “ MILLINERY, as you will ace, is from the leading French establishments, and ought to be all that can be desired.” “ STRAW GOODS, tho’ vastly in excess of orders, must be right. . . . I never saw cheaper goods. . . . By Charlotte Gladstone you should soon have one portion of the 20,000 Hats before mentioned. They are a desperate bargain, and ought to do you RIBBONS.—'The new colors, so recently considered ugly by now all the rage. A full variety has been sent. Watered ribbons will be much worn, “ FURS, having been bought in summer, are fully a fourth under present prices. “SILKS.— More than usual attention has this season been given to this line. The Blacks, in particular, you will find are exceptionally good value. You may safely warrant 6very^ piece. - Bradford, London, Glasgow, &c., have been carefully gone through, where the best value and most suitable goods were secured wherever met with. You will find some very choice things amongst it,” “WINCEYS ami SKIRTINGS.—Of these, Mr Ewing seems to have made some very large and satisfactory purchases in Aberdeen, Perth, &c. ; but upon these and other Goods purchased in his tour, he will no doubt make his own report. “PAPER MODELS.—These life-size Models represent the very newest designs in Dresses, Mantles, Jackets, Tunics, &c., Ac., made specially for you. “FANCY GOODS. —Everything new, pretty, and seasonable has been sent in Clouds, scarfs, Gloves, Collarettes, Real Crochet, New Laces, Belts, Falls, Fair Nets and Rolls, kc., &c.
