WRITTEN Tenders will be received at this office up to 4 p.m. on Thursday, the 17th of April, 1873, for the Construction of the Racecourse to Selwyn River Contract of the above Railway. They must be addressed to the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside “ Tender for Railway, Racecourse to Selwyn River.” Plans and specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Wellington and Christchurch. Telegraphic Tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received, if presented at any Telegraph Office by noon of the same date, provided that a written tender in due form is lodged at the office of the District Engineer, at Christchurch, by the above hour.
