The weights for the Dunedin Jockey Club and Novel Race Handicaps will be declared on the evening of the first day’s racing. The Handicap has tweuty-oue nbminatioj+s and the Novel Race thirteen. Intimation Wks given at the meeting of the stewards, on Saturday evening, that Mr Hazlett’s Atlas and Brunette had accepted ; and that a notification to that effect had been posted, but had not been delivered. We have been shown a telegram from Mr Hazlett at Clyde, which says “ Acceptances posted here Thursday.”
