J.P.’s) Drunkenness,— Henry Aitken was fined ss, in default, 24 hours’ imprisonment; John Barnes, 10s, or 48 hours ; Laurence Lannigan, not appearing, was fined in the amount of his bail (4‘s). Obscene Language. Elizabeth Sutton and John Wilks, charged with the above offence, were each fined 20s, with the option of 25 hours’ imprisonment. Child Desertion.— Alexander Menzies, charged with deserting his son, was remanded till to-morrow.
