The profits of the gamingtable at Spa (Belgium) amounted this year to 0,300,000f. The Cambridge University boat crew have accepted the challenge of tae Oxford crew to row an eight-oared race next spring. Mr Caleb Cushing stated the other day, to an interviewing reporter of the New York * Herald, that Sir Alexander Cockhurn spoke the best French of any of the arbitrators at Geneva. The language was a foreign one to all.
