REV. MR REID.
To the Editor.
Srn, —My attention having been called to a letter in your issue of the Ist inst., signed “Not Philologia,” I beg to inform the writer that the Rev. Mr Reid was the only clergyman who responded to the invitation of the .Society for the investigation of Spiritualism. His lecture wax appreciated, and the Society passed a unanimous vote of thanks to the rev. gentleman. 1 know that all Spiritualists cordially invite an honest and manly criticism, whilst they depreciate abuse under anonymous names. I am, &c,, T. Rekmayae, President of the Society. Dunedin, March 0.
