PROF. MACGREGOR AND DR. DUNN.
To the Editor .
Sir,— As, from the letter of “ Fair Play ” and other of your correspondents, there appears to exist an impression that Professor Macgregor (I presume, because he is a professor and also a member of the medical profession) is therefore to be considered an authority on medical questions, Ithinkitright to remind them and your readers that that gentleman, although a Bachelor of Medicine and Master in Surgery, is Professor of Mental Philosophy, and, if on no other account than his youth and consequent inexperience in hie profession, cannot for a moment be considered to be on a par with regard to medical subjects, with many of his professional brethren in Dunedin. — I am, Ac., Bounce Play. February 28th, 1873.
