A young lady of T* rre Haute, aged 13, is six feet one inch in height. At the Salford Town-hall, Mark Young, a house cleaner in the employ of iho Manchester Carriage Company, was charged with having wilfully set fire to his wife. The woman was found lying on the sofa severely binned, and she stated that it was her husband who had set fire to her in consequence of a quarrel they had had. The woman was removed to the Salford dispensary, and very little hopes are entertained of In r recovery.
