A QUERY.

To the Editor, Sir, —A few of the gentlemen (not Old Identities) connected with the legal profession, 1 am informed, have taken objection to my “ Notice,” appearing in your issue of last evening, as being unprofessional, &c. Now, Mr Fditor, will you, or some other gentleman, be good enough to inform me, whether such notice is unprofessional or not ia the Colonies. Ido not doubt for a moment that it may be so at Home, but we must remember that this is New Zealand. I withhold the notice until my query is answered. —I am, &c. C. R. Chapman, Solicitor, &c.
